Frequently Asked Questions

Mentors must be at least 25 years old, live in or have a strong connection to Baltimore City, and pass a background check. They should demonstrate integrity, empathy, and a commitment to supporting youth.

The program focuses on building life skills, strengthening family values, promoting emotional health, and addressing key areas like education, employment, and financial literacy.

BWU provides a safe space for youth to express frustrations, bridges generational divides, and equips participants with tools for personal and professional success.
