J.O.Y Baltimore Giving Tuesday

Help End Youth
Homelessness Today

Every night, thousands of young people face homelessness.
Your support can provide shelter, education, and hope for a better future.

J.O.Y. Baltimore’s mission is to transform the lives of Maryland’s youth, particularly those experiencing homelessness, including LGBTQIA+ youth who face unique challenges. Our primary goal is to provide a holistic support system that addresses both their immediate and long-term needs. This includes offering safe, secure housing, access to essential resources such as meals, clothing, and hygiene supplies, as well as opportunities for mentorship and life skills development.

We strive to empower young people by connecting them with educational programs, career training, and mental health support, creating pathways to independence and long-term stability. Our goal is to ensure that every young person feels seen, valued, and supported—fostering a future where they can overcome adversity and thrive in a community that believes in their potential. By addressing the root causes of homelessness and providing sustainable solutions, we aim to break the cycle and build a brighter, more inclusive future for all youth.

Every night, thousands of young people between the ages of 16-24 face homelessness. Without support, they’re at higher risk for trauma, assault, and trafficking.

YouthHaven provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, education support, mental health services, and job training to help young people build stable, independent lives.

Your donation provides vital resources that change lives. Together, we can ensure every young person has a safe place to call home and the support they need to thrive.
